Borderline 40...

I wanted to create something about being this side of 40... and here 'tis:


2 more days, well almost 1 more day now. Yeah, it's just a number, but it's still a birthday. I found a note I wrote to myself about last years b'day, I pray that this one is better. I was happy until I read that note, wish I hadn't kept it now, but it was a good reminder... a bit of a wake up call. Lets see what 40 brings... hopefully not as much drama as 38 and 39 did!!

Happy Easter everyone!

This weekend, in between visiting, visits and movie outings I have managed to complete 7 out of 7 challenges the SW girls are running {helped that I had a fab day scrapping at Scraptivate on Saturday though}. I have to say, I'm pretty pleased with managing to finish them all. Here they are:

Amy G's "Hybrid Scrapping" Challenge - Digitally Decorate a photo and scrap it.



Amy B's "Scrap a Loved Item" Challenge - Scrap an object you love and journal why.


Penny's "Journal Listing" Challenge - Journal using a How To or Guide to Listing.



Kerri's "Race Horse" Challenge - Use the name of a horse from the Race Listings as a title for your Layout.



KarenM's "Scraplift a KarenM LO" Challenge - I kinda took this one literally, even borrowed her kids to copy one of her LO's {yeah, I'm a smart-arse}



Ange's "Pizza" Challenge - Choose a 'base', 'sauce' and 'topping' ingredients to create your own pizza.


Bri's "E A S T E R" Challenge - Scrap a LO containing items that begin with each letter of Easter.


I have had a total ball doing these... and I still have a day left of the long weekend to scrap away!! Thanks to the SW girls for creating such fun!!

Page Kit by Heather... Album by Mistra...

This week I got this in the mail... my Page Kit Swap from Heather. I was so excited as the colours were soooooo perfect for the photos I was going to use, but somewhat challenged as the pattern was not my usual style... which was the whole purpose of the exercise.


So I decide, instead of a LO... I'd do a whole mini album! I had heaps of pics of this fun little photo shoot with Kel so a mini album would be perfect, plus Heather has sent me enough to do one! So here are a few of the pages... I added some more stars to carry on her theme, and added some overlays and stickers of my own to add dimension... and the album.







I love it... Kel loves it... thanks for the challenge Heather!!

SBS, 52Q and some scrapping for scrapping sake...

Forgotten - Last weeks SBS for the ScrapWitch girls... I'm really happy with this one!




Alfred's Cram - Kazz is going to laugh... these are only from last year. Not long now until we do the famous Alfred's Cram again together!! Just didn't quite know how to scrap the pics, so I stopped procrastinating and just did.



Sweet but Feral - A pic of my gorgeous Lily from February... so love this little bundle of feral delight. We say 'feral' affectionately because a little lady she isn't {how could you be with 2 older brothers}, but I love her to bits, she's smart and chatty and ever so cute!!



Up to date again with 52Q. I like to save them up and do a few at once it seems! I've not finished the backs yet, this one is just having a pic of my worst hairstyle {dating Feb 2007}

Worst HairStyle {and all my friends from a couple of years ago should remember the one!}


Keeping Me Awake at Night - all those unanswered questions, that's what keep me awake at night!!



And this one I can't quite answer yet... Grateful, Now. To be honest I'm struggling and will finish it when I'm in a better frame of mind. And yes... I do have lots I should be grateful for, I know that...
