I've been looking for some challenges for something new, and found that Glitz Designs have one on their blog each month, starting today {figured again that was meant to be}... so I played with the new Love Games papers. I love this one with the poppies, I was going to use them for a LO of my mum {she loves poppies} but found this photo of Angie, and that was the one... just perfect!
Angie was my super pleasant surprise when I went to the HS Retreat last year, I knew I'd like her... I like her online so that was a given... but I didn't realise I'd totally love her. I think she's just the greatest. Although I don't get a lot of time to natter on with her anymore, she remains close to my heart and I hope to see her again before too long!
I have used Glitz Designs Love Games Polka & Poppies, as well as some of the Love Nest Paper Layers {love these}, teamed up with a Dusty Attic Doily, Leaves & part of a scroll, some new Prima Trim and an old Prima flower {knew I was saving this one for a reason!!} and a delicious Zva Crystal Swirl - it's simple but just right in my eyes!
The chipboard was inked, dabbed with paint and glimmer glam and sprayed with some Luminarte Radiant Rain in pumpkin... I just keep adding layers until I get the desired colours.

This is so pretty, Mistra! I love the torn and distressed edges of the paper, and the clustering of flowers, trim and bling is fabulous!! Lovely job!!
