Kellan - Now & Then...

This is Kellan this morning... his 9th birthday and still asleep, in our bed!! Why he's in our bed I have no idea - but we don't complain, we make the most of these moments while we can now!

This is Kellan.... 9 years ago today! What a boofer cone-head he was! The most memorable day {let alone New Years Eve} of my life!!

Sometimes I wish he was this little again, sometimes I wish he'd just grow up {so I can see who he will be} - but time goes by so quickly that you have to treasure every single moment of every single day you have with them, because there's no going back.

OK... so I'm all mushy. Kellan's birthday does that to me - I guess it's the same for most mum's out there!!

But right now I wish he'd just hurry up and wake-up so I can give him his presents - I'm excited!!

Qwyzzle

My brain just cracked - honest, you should've heard it!! First it starts as this low moaning sound and then 'crack' just like that!!
Lisa got me doing this quiz/puzzle/torture thing called Qwyzzle... I wasn't going to, nope not me, nu uh! But of course curiousity got the better of me and I just HAD to... now I'm addicted, brain-dead and find cleaning much more enticing! I am up to level 39... Lisa just made it to 100 so I suppose into the Hall of Fame - smartass {you know I love ya}!! I'm bookmarking each level so I have all the answers and then will torture my husband with it... hehehe!

We went to see...

Narnia!!! Oh my this movie is AWESOME!! I walked out gobsmacked and just couldn't manage finishing talking about one amazing scene before starting on another.
I've not read the Chronicles of Narnia, but for my hubby... this was a dream come true. The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe was his favourite book of childhood. He still can't believe I got through school without reading it!!
Kellan loved it... we both were consoling each other when... oh I won't say in case you've not seen... you simply have to go see! I honestly walked out of this movie wanting to purchase another ticket and see it again, right away!!
We had a lovely day, docs in the morning for a referral - always nice to catch up with our GP, he's the best! Then lunch, some shopping and the movie... good day - I love holidays!
We're off to see King Kong on Saturday - it's Kellan's birthday and his choice of activity for the day. Cheeky devil because earlier I said it was too long and we should wait for DVD, but it's all he wants so that we can do!

New Blog

OK... time for a new blog, mainly because I liked the big pics in Kim's blog and msn only gave me iddy ones! So bear with me while I change things around, make mistakes, confuse everyone and generally just do what I normally do!!
