Remember [always fly home]

I don't know why I am loving these so much, reverse canvas', shadow boxes... sweet little collages with lots of pretties... really, these are going to be a dusting nightmare {thank goodness for cans of compressed air}... but I LOVE creating them. Darren is going to put a shelf up on my scrapbook wall for them all, then I'll be surrounded by all these gorgeous dioramas! I guess it's my way of creating things just for me, something that doesn't get put into an album and something I can see around me and inspire me... and of course they are a perfect showcase for Dusty Attic yummies!!

I have used the rectangular shadow box and turned it up on it's end, teamed up with some of the picket fence border, one of the mini words and the gorgeous French Window Pane {complete with curtains of course}... oh and we can't forget the sweetest little Sparrow who few home like a good little hatching should!

The paper somewhere in the background there is Prima, flowers are by Petaloo or handmade by me using Prima Papers and Text sheets. The frame of the Shadow Box was painted and crackled using Tim Holtz Distress Crackle, then attacked with more paint, UTEE and Tim Holtz Distress Stickles.

Take care of you

  7. Stunning stuff, just absolutely stunning. Would so love just half your talent so I too can create a shelf full of yummies for my office. Hmmm, getting a shelf up would be a start though (I have 2 but they're not on the wall LOL).
