I See Red...

and you will too before too long!

There's a new online store about to open it's cyber doors, owned and run by a very sweet friend of mine. I've been playing and helping behind the scenes since March... and finally the Grand Opening is almost here, I can only imagine how excited Helen is because I'm chomping at the bit to get playing!

The big day is August 1st... so bookmark the site, pop the date in your diary, and be ready to pick up some delicious scrapbooking yummies - the 1st 20 orders will all get a special thank you gift! Not only is Helen selecting the cream of the crop of scrapbooking supplies, she's creating gorgeous beautifully matched kits for you to play with {I'm playing with one already... mmmm}.

The forum and gallery are up and running now... and there's a competition running for a $30 store voucher which I think might come in very handy! Every week there will be a new challenge set to keep the mojo turning over... with the chance to pick up a voucher each month, mojo AND goodies, it seriously can't get batter than that!!

So pop on over... have a nosey around and I hope you stay for a natter with us, it's not every day you get to be there at the start of something new and exciting!!

Take care of you.

Twilight

Yes... the obsession continues! There won't be a whole lot more of them though, maybe... ;-)

When I saw that Dusty Attic had a 'Twilight' word... I HAD to have it, and then these gorgeous CI Papers {Marah Johnson - Breathless} came out and compliment not only the Twilight genre but also the Dusty Attic Gates, Hanging Signs and Chandeliers - talk about heaven!!

So I've nabbed some of the papers, tracked down the journal cards and sheets and had a ball!

Take care of you.

My Scrap Haven

Fueled with NEW Dusty Attic yummies, a Dusty Attic Challenge and an awesome colour palette and sketch from The Color Room, I created:

I'm so happy with the combination... and am so rapt that I've had a chance to play with some very delicious brights, it's not often that I am comfortable with them... but I think that is changing!

The Dusty Challenge is to "Scrap your Scrap Space"... grab some Dusty and play along because you could not only win a pack of the NEW Dusty, but can also win the opportunity to have a layout created just for you by one of Dusty's uber talented ladies: Steph Devlin, Trina McClune or Michelle Grant!! Comp ends 31st July... so get creating!!

Take care of you.

I love to get DUSTY!!

Only the good kind though... I am so happy to be creating for The Dusty Attic because I get to play with the most divine chipboard. And just when you think a company couldn't possibly design better things... Jen releases this:

And that's just a few items... why not pop on over to the Dusty Attic Shop and see"What's New" here, then ask your fave LSS to get them in, they {and you} won't be disappointed!

And then keep an eye out in the Dusty Ning Gallery to see what the DT do with them!!

My 1st Class

Today I taught my very 1st ever class, to say I was nervous as all heck going in was an understatement! But once I got into the swing of things I think it all went well... well I hope it did!!

I had a ball... I LOVED seeing everyone's piece become their own, LOVED seeing people new to the techniques I was showing love them like I do... LOVED it all. The ladies were wonderful... I hope they all love their pieces, I thought each of every one of them looked fabulous!

Can't wait for my next class now... it's August 21st and will cover these techniques but boosted, very full on, very messy... lots of FUN!!

Take care of you.

I love being on holidays...

because I have time! Time to make a mess of the house and tidy it up again {well almost} and time to scrap... all in the same day!

I created this today... I started playing last night and put it together today, after I fell off my chair while stupidly trying to plug something in - figured that was a good sign to stop tidying and start scrapping {yep, any excuse}. I have had this MME Meadowlark paper for a while, I knew I had to have it, but nothing was quite right to use on it... until I got this pic of me {yeah, me again}.

I love the subtle colouring, love it...

I have used the MME Meadowlark PP, Delish Designs Transparencies, Prima Flowers & Crystals, Websters Trim, CI Marah Johnson Bling Brads, 7 Gypsies Princessa Jewels, Heidi Swapp Bling Borders, Collections Butterflies, 7 Gypsies ATC Transparency and one of my FAVE Dusty Attic pieces, the French Flourish Border.

Take care of you.

Dusty Sketch Challenge

At the moment Dusty have a wicked prize up for grabs, click on the sketch to have a see!

I've got some mojo flowing this weekend {finally} so I had a play as well... here's mine!

The only small photos in the house, me at 3 with mum and dad. Probably a good thing I did this, poor things were stuck down with icky sticky tape!

I had lots of fun with this! More faves on there... beaded trim, crocheted bits and the lovely Dusty Attic Wrought Iron Frame I've had for ages, finally it found the perfect home.

The cute button is from Lil Red Rocket; Crochet Trim from Simply Cards, a couple of cute little Etsy Stores I love. The delicious paper in the background is from KCo's Ancestry Range, available at Inspired Crafts, and of course the Dusty, CI IOD Papers, Lace Trim and those cute paper roses are from Tomorrow's Memories.

Abandoned

I didn't take this pic... I found it on google images or wiki commons ages ago and it's been my desktop image for a while... I had to scrap it with the Dusty Attic Tree, it was perfect.

I love this LO... I find peace in it. I love old buildings, I think I should take some pics myself because there's so many around where we live {our house being one LOL}.

So here I have used the Dusty Attic Bare Tree and some Dusty Attic Barbed Wire, Prima Flowers, Crochet Lace Trim, Creative Imaginations IOD Paper, Collections Butterflies, Carolee's Alpha Stickers, most of these {especially those cute cute little roses} can be found at Tomorrow's Memories

Be True [to you]

ahhh, more flowers and bling and butterflies!!

Just me, been a while since I've had a recent pic of myself.

I have a wealth of faves on here: Prima, Websters, Dusty Attic {thanks Tina}, Collections Butterflies, Tags, Bling, Crochet & Beaded Trims... all the good stuff! Oh and I played with my NEW iRock Tool, talk about FUN!! They're available at Inspired Crafts if you're local, although they keep selling out... but I'm sure if you ask Christine and Russell nicely they'll get more in for you!

Take care of you.

Forever Always

and their love, will last forever...

Edward and Bella - Eclipse... yes, I love the Twilight Saga... I loved this scene, it needed to be scrapped!

I used delicious Ella Blue Papers from GCD and Creative Imagination IOD Papers, love them so much! Blue isn't usually a colour I scrap with, but this had that ever so slight touch of aqua in them, for some reason that helps!! There's Collections Butterflies & Transparencies, Delish Transparencies, Heidi Swap Silhouettes, Prima Flowers and a smidgen of Dusty Attic {thanks to Evana who I nicked the Mini Vines from}. Most of the product on this page is currently available at Tomorrow's Memories!

Take care of you.
