Tease me...

ok... so I'm teasing you instead!

Last weekend when I wandered into Tomorrow's Memories I found a little package waiting for me saying 'scrap me', ok well maybe not those words but it feels like that every time I am given a new DT pack... just like Alice with all sorts of new wonders to be found!

So I scrapped my little heart on Saturday night... and here's some peeks for you until I take them back to TM's on Saturday {ooooh 'citement, 12 hour crop happening and it's a PJ Party!!}

Anyways... back to teasing!

These are NEW not yet arrived papers from Kaiser... they're a bit nice!!

This one I've used a splash of delish red... look at that lush foil embossed paper in the background... mmmm... so decadent and some gorgeous Swarovski Crystals set in a line were perfect to set it off!

And this one left all earthy with browns... bit of bling, bit of lace... versatile huh!

So pop on by Tomorrow's Memories soon to see the range when it arrives, you'll love it!

Take care of you.

Shine

I read this little quote while hunting through my journal cards, and part of it became the title of this LO of me on my 1st birthday!

[Beauty] ... is not in the face, it is a light in the heart. I will let my light shine. Kahlil Gibran

And so... ta da... this LO has some NEW Dusty Attic on it! A gorgeous fancy trim - which matches the daisy punch I have almost perfectly - got to LOVE that!!

Here the chipboard was inked with Tim Holtz Bundle Sage, then painted with Adirondack Dabbers, Stickled and then UTEE'd.

Trust me... the LO is straight IRL, seriously I cannot take a straight pic to save my life!

I have also used Prima Fairy Flora Paper, My Minds Eye Lost and Found Paper, Prima Flowers, Handmade Dodgy Flower, Bella! Journal Tags, Websters Journal Card, German Scrap, Prima Crystal Swirl, Jenni Bowlin Pins, American Crafts Thickers.

All the NEW Dusty Attic yummies are available for Pre-Order at Dusty Attic NOW... so have a nosey and then start nagging your LSS to get some Dusty happening! Here's a link directly to the website - Dusty Attic Pre-Order.

Take care of you.

Lucky last...

for the weekend, now I'm off to watch the TV while the boys have hidden themselves in the DazCave!

This is another for Red Earth Scrapping... more Prima Fairy Flora, it's divine isn't it!!

That's ME there... I would have been just over 1yo, with my lamb Remus. Mum says when we were both older I used to escape {even through deadbolts} and wander off in the Adelaide Hills with my lamb and my dog... poor mum, she must have gone grey quickly having me as a toddler, but she says she didn't panic too much, she knew the dog would lead me home if I wandered too far!

I have used: Prima Fairy Flora Papers {Fairy Flora and Garden Party - Reverse}, Prima Fairy Flora Flowers {Solids}, Prima Fairy Flora Pebbles, Prima Fairy Flora Notecards, Prima Craftable Flowers, Prima SIIC Bling Swirls, AC Thickers {Bliss}, Green Tara Silver Stems and the lovely Dusty Attic Decorative Trim Set.

Simple finishes on the Dusty Attic this time, just White, Pearl and Juniper Adirondack Dabbers, touched with Patina Stickles once dry.

Hope you all have a lovely week!

Take care of you.

But wait... there's more!

Prima... sigh!

I do have to admit, some of the new Prima paper releases didn't appeal to me, while very sweet and cute they were so not what I could use and I was so worried that there'd be nothing for me this CHA release, because I do love my Prima!! And then there was Fairy Flora... and life was good again.

How sweet it this range!! Not quite my usual colours, but the mottled backgrounds and the flowers and the colours all blending together were highly appealing... and so I was RAPT when Helen @ Red Earth sent me these to play with this month, and I had JUST the photo as well, my mum's friends daughter Lilly.

I have used: Prima Fairy Flora {Fairy Flora & Garden Party} PP, Prima Fairy Flora Pebbles, Prima Fairy Flora Notecard, Prima Fairy Flora Flowers {Solids}, Prima Craftable Flowers, AC Thickers {Dear Lizzie Bliss}, Dusty Attic Chipboard {Skeleton Clock Face, Leafy Stems and Flowers}, Generic paper doily.

Again the chippies have been inked and then coloured with Adirondack Paint Dabbers and sealed with UTEE, the Clock and Flowers were also backed with Fusible Film. The Doily was painted with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam, I love the glitter!!

Take care of you.

Some-days it does...

Yep... some-days the creative streak WORKS, this one I had a ball with and I think it shows!

Vicki at Tomorrow's gave me some of the Creative Imaginations IOD Night Divine papers to work with and I fell in love with it. It's rare for me to love a Christmas range, I guess growing up where Christmas is about BBQ's and Pool Party's and there's no sign of snowmen, snow and reindeers led me to just not 'get' the usual Christmas ranges. This one is perfect though... gorgeous soft bordeaux tones, with cool greens and a touch of duck egg blue, no santa's or snow to be seen = perfection in my eyes! And with the angel in the corner... yeah I was sold!

So I thought on it all week, thinking of what photo to grab from years gone by... how to use the papers, researching what others had done {pretty much nothing nowhere} and then played... with a canvas LOL! I think that part was procrastination at first, get messy have fun, hope for the best... but it worked, it WANTED the canvas. And then I just played, trimmed this, cut there, added that... and it all worked and I am so pleased with it.

I have also used all kinds of Prima Flowers, Beaded Trim, Paper Doily, these weird bronze glitter stalky things that are the BEST things when cut up and used here an there, {Tomorrow's now have more of these in stock!} Dusty Attic Decorative Trim Set, Dusty Attic Word & Dusty Attic Chain Fence, Websters Silhouette and a ZVA Bling Flourish {ahhh my new FAVE's in the bling world, they are luxurious}.

This chippy has been inked and then splooshed and dabbed with Luminarte Daubers and Adirondack Dabbers and then sealed with UTEE.

So now I have {when it comes home to me one day}, a new Christmas Decoration! For now though it will grace the display at Tomorrow's Memories... which is almost the same, I get to see it every weekend and it will be in with other gorgeous Christmas displays before too long I'm sure. And maybe... just maybe I might get that Christmas Spirit afterall!

Take care of you.

Some-days it doesn't...

Isn't it funny how some-days your creative streak just spills out stunning stuff, and then some-days there is nothing... everything you do feels forced and not quite right. Maybe those days we shouldn't scrap, but what do you do when you want to play anyway?!

Well I usually just play... as a friend once told me, not everything I do has to be perfect. LOL, actually I get told that a lot {friends, family... especially mum}... I still don't know WHY it can't be perfect each time though ;-) guess that's still something I need to get 'over'!!

So it keeping with not perfect, but fun to scrap - here is our Coco:

I have been pulling this LO for weeks to scrap and not quite getting anywhere... so I just relaxed, nattered away to Tina, Jen & Mel at Inspired Friday the other week and created, ripped, distressed, painted, dabbed... and made this. And while not perfect, I had fun and it's scrapped.

There is Autumn Leaves, Kaiser & Tim Holtz Papers, Websters Blooms {the last of my treasured stash}, a Prima Flower, Beaded Trim, Dusty Attic Leafy Stems and some gorgeous Crochet Trim sent to me by my friend Heather.

The Leafy Stems were FUN to finish. I have used Adirondack Paint Dabbers {eternal thanks for Evana for getting me well hooked on these, they are the BEST} in Mushroom, Sandal, Aqua & Stream, Stickles in Patina {mmm another new fave colour thanks to Christine} and I think that's about it... the paints were layered and blended and smooshed... ooooh smooshed reminds me of Smooch... and that WILL be the new addiction for finishing my chippies - Smooches! LOL, and finally {back on track now} they were touched with the stickles.

Take care of you.
